Terms and Conditions

This legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between you (“You” or “Your”) and Editor's Atelier (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Services Provided: Editor's Atelier offers professional editorial services, including ghostwriting, developmental editing, literary agent representation, book pitches & proposals, and pre-submission feedback. Our services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, with a commitment to quality and timely delivery.

2. Acceptance of the Agreement: You must be of legal age and capable of entering into a binding agreement. By using our services, you accept these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, refrain from using our services.

3. Payment: Payments must be made according to the terms specified at the time of booking. We accept payments through Razorpay and other approved methods. Full payment or a deposit may be required before the commencement of services.

4. Confidentiality: We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and project details. No information will be shared with third parties without the client's consent.

5. Intellectual Property: All content created by Editor's Atelier becomes the property of the client upon full payment. However, we reserve the right to use excerpts for promotional purposes, with the client's consent.

6. Limitation of Liability: Editor's Atelier is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of our services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the services provided.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Agreement is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

8. Modifications: We reserve the right to modify or amend these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

 

 



Privacy Policy

At Editor's Atelier, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

1. Information Collection: We collect personal information, such as your name, email address, and payment details, to provide and improve our services, process payments, and communicate with you.

2. Use of Information: Your personal information is used solely for providing our services and managing our business. We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except as necessary to provide our services or comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Security: We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Refunds and Cancellations

At Editor's Atelier, we aim to provide high-quality services to our clients. However, we understand that situations may arise requiring refunds or cancellations.

1. Refunds: Refunds are considered at the discretion of Editor's Atelier, depending on the nature of the service and the stage of the project. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our work, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the final deliverable. We will review your concerns and may issue a partial or full refund based on our assessment.

2. Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email. A cancellation fee may apply, depending on the project's stage and the amount of work completed. Deposits are generally non-refundable, except where Editor's Atelier cannot fulfill the agreed-upon services.

3. Exceptions: Certain services, such as custom ghostwriting and editorial projects, may not be eligible for refunds or cancellations once work has commenced. Please review your contract or contact us for specific details regarding your project.
